Application Process

Prospective TRS singers should contact us using our inquiry form to schedule your visit to a rehearsal.

A representative from the group should respond within 2 - 3 days.

Rehearsal Visits

Before being accepted into the group, all prospective members must visit between 2 - 3 rehearsals.

Please arrange your visits with the rehearsal manager.

Prospective members may not visit rehearsals more than 3 times in the same year.

Acceptance Process

After visiting 2 or 3 rehearsals, prospective members will meet with the choir's president to discuss their reasons for wanting to join to group and to undergo a simple voice part and skill check. No more than 4 visits may be had in a calendar year.

Visits are hosted on a by-appointment basis and are only offered to singers who have completed and submitted a visitation inquiry.

Singers should be prepared to do the following:

  • Discussion of reasons for joining and review of our choirs mission and goals.

  • 2 - 3 warm-up exercises testing technique, range, and freedom of voice

This is not an audition but merely a way to determine which part within our choir best fits the singer's voice. It is also a way for us to become acquainted with your skill level and any support you might need.

Official Admittance to the Group

After the meeting, you will officially be accepted into the group.

The first two months of dues are free after this point.

We look forward to having you join us!
